Fredia S. Wadley, MD, MSHPA – QHS President and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Wadley has over eight years experience with DFDC parent company Quality Health Strategies, and has worked across all subsidiaries as Medical Director for External Quality Review contracts, QIO beneficiary protection services, AHRQ contracts, and all Health Integrity, LLC contracts and served as interim director for business development in 2006 – 2007.
Prior to her positions with QHS, Dr. Wadley had a public health career in Tennessee with eight years as the Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Health and over seven years as the Director of the Nashville/Davidson County Health Department. She is the recipient of many public health awards from the state, regional, and national public health associations; has served as faculty of four medical and three nursing schools; has been a member of many boards and committees including the board of directors of a hospital management company in Tennessee and the Public Health Foundation in the District of Columbia. She was a member of the National Research Council and Institute of Medicine Committee for the report Children’s Health, The Nation’s Wealth: Assessing and Improving Child Health released October 2004, and contributed the chapter on “Metrics for Public Health” in The Public Health Quality Improvement Handbook, ASQ Quality Press, 2009
